Mad Libs is a game you can play alone or with a group of friends. It was first introduced to the world by Leonard Stern and Roger Price in 1953. However, its unique name wasn’t discovered until five years later when both creators overheard a conversation between a talent agent and an actor, all while eating eggs benedict. The two were arguing because the actor wanted to ‘ad-lib” an upcoming interview, to which the talent agent claimed that it was “mad”. Stern and Price then decided that their game will be named “Mad Libs”.
